I was a bride too. My wedding was the most incredible day of my life – a day full of happiness, dancing and love. It inspired me to open Stellina Events.
I grew up in New York studying art and theater and have spent the past seven years living in London and Brussels working in the communications consulting industry. During my time living in London, I realized that my creativity, communications experience, passion for cooking and travel, knowledge and adoration of foreign cultures, as well as my love for party planning, could help me make my own dream a reality: helping others make their wedding or event into the most perfect day.
Over the past ten years, I have worked in marketing, at a think tank and at leading global communications agencies – Burson-Marsteller, Waggener Edstrom, Porter Novelli and Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications – in London, Brussels and New York.
I have planned numerous large and small scale events including, for example:
- Designed and coordinated weddings in New York, Washington State, Pennsylvania, Italy, France, and
- Denmark
- Consultant for weddings in Switzerland, Spain and Iceland
- Designed and organized private events in New York, Washington, D.C., and London
- Planned bachelorette parties in New York and Belgium
- Arranged and catered various dinner parties in New York, Brussels and London
- Organized a Microsoft conference led by Bill Gates at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi
- Planned numerous internal and external corporate events for SAP in the UK
- Spearheaded a Working Group on Energy Security for the G8 countries in Brussels
- Organized the U.S. launch party of Yu-Gi-Oh at Tao restaurant in New York
I have a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Kent, Brussels School of International Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management and Foreign Studies from New York University. In addition, I speak some French, Italian, Spanish and Polish.
